This activity was designed to give my 7th grade "Intro to 2D and 3D Design" class a project to complete in Tinkercad. The Jack-O-Lanterns required students to use both additive and subtractive elements as well as scaling and exporting. The final designs were 3D printed in PLA with 5% infill on PRUSA printers.
The design parameters included:
The Jack-O-Lantern had to be shaped like a pumpkin, not a baseball.
The pumpkin had to have a stem.
The Jack-O-Lantern needed to have a "carved" face.
The final products were as varied as the students that created them!
